“Two years ago, my mother lost her husband to Alzheimer’s Disease. The years of caring for him took a toll on her health.

After she experienced several falls and hospitalizations, it became apparent that she did not need to live alone or have the responsibility for caring for her home.

My mother feared losing her independence and leaving her home. After touring Camellia Place, my mother agreed it would be a good idea to try assisted living.

She was thrilled with the “neighborhood, a home, not a hallway” concept.

Now she has a beautiful room, meals, activities, and socialization. She particularly loves their breakfast and the live music socials.

I feel secure knowing she is safe and has assistance when she needs it.”
