“I have never seen a more genuine, caring, compassionate management team,” said Carol Mastowski, LPN, Memory Care Manager at Camellia Place, as she anticipates her important work here.
With a background rich in serving others, Carol is excited to be part of this unique concept of a home-style assisted living and memory care community. Her career includes experience in a large physician’s office, a school clinic and, most recently, an assisted living community in Acworth. She is most pleased and proud of fulfilling her dream to become a nurse, enabling her to care for her mother with Alzheimer’s disease as well as her father, who suffered from COPD (lung disease).
Carol completed her education and training to become a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Bayonne Hospital School of Nursing in New Jersey. In 2004, she relocated to Woodstock and now lives in the nearby community of Montclair at Ridgewalk. She has seen Camellia Place bloom from the ground up and came to know the heart and passion of founders Lauren Clifton and Denise Swords. It was then that she knew Camellia Place was to be the next chapter in her nursing career. With a servant’s heart, she is a natural addition to the Camellia Place team.
In her spare time, Carol enjoys taking care of family, cooking and baking, traveling, entertaining friends and family, as well as exercise, hiking and walking.
“Camellia Place will be a blessing in your life,” she concludes. “My greatest achievement here will be the joy and satisfaction received from seeing this awesome community coming to life.”
