McFall has worked in the luxury hospitality industry since 2004. He comes to Camellia Place from the Mandarin Oriental in Atlanta where he served as director of residences. Previously, he was resident manager at Ritz Carlton Residences in Atlanta. McFall began his career at resorts in Colorado after earning his Master of Education in recreation and tourism from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
“When I talk to others about the new concept of senior living that Camellia Place offers, they are surprised and excited about it,” he continued. “It’s validation that the high level of service and care I’m used to providing will be greatly appreciated by our residents.”
Andrew credits his parents for instilling in him a strong work ethic at an early age. He also will never forget his general manager, Doug Chang, with whom he worked at the Ritz Carlton on Maui. Doug helped him grow as a professional and proved that integrity transcends across your personal and professional life. “He continually stressed the importance of honesty and always doing the right thing—top priorities in my life,” he explained.
After college, Andrew spent over a year living in Japan teaching English to Japanese students.
“I enjoyed living in Japan and experiencing a culture different from my own,” Andrew said. “My advice is to never pass up an opportunity to travel. New experiences and meeting new people enrich life.”
Andrew and his wife, Molly, live in Atlanta with their two children, Rosemary and Duncan. During his free time, he enjoys being outdoors and loves to hike, bike and camp with his family.
